Position: IOM Technologist – Intra-Operative Specialist

It is expected that the individual show self-direction and initiative with minimal supervision. The basic elements of EEG and EP acquisition should already be mastered, along with artifact detection/elimination skills. Advanced techniques are mastered and applied independently, such as intra-operative monitoring of complex procedures. The technologist should be able to describe EEG and EP findings to junior faculty in a review style format. IOM Technologists must be flexible enough to learn new and advanced protocols when needed and serve as resources for junior staff. They are also expected to take responsibility for certain aspects of laboratory organization and serve as the lead lab team member in those areas. Maintaining registration credentials as a Certified Neurological Intra-operative Monitorist (CNIM) is required, along with acquiring continuing education units as recommended by the national accrediting body and staying updated with advances in the field. Experience and Salary

A minimum of three years of experience in related fields is required for the PRN EEG title. Candidates not meeting this requirement will be considered for the EEG or Senior Technologist title based on credentials. Salary Range EEG Tech: $41.60 - $54.87 Salary Range Senior EEG Tech: $45.06 - $59.45 Salary Range IOM (Principal EEG) Technologist: $59.64 - $78.69
