MANTECH seeks a mission-driven and innovative

Data Scientist

to join our team in

Ft. Meade, MD . In this role, you will lead the development of cutting-edge machine learning and statistical analytics to support national security objectives. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and customers to guide analytic development from prototype to production, making an impact by delivering high-value data-driven insights.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading a team of data scientists across multiple analytic development efforts Collaborating with customers and SMEs to define analytic requirements and ensure alignment with mission goals Guiding the team in prototyping and transitioning advanced analytics into operational environments Applying state-of-the-art machine learning, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to large and complex datasets Delegating analytic tasks to team members and overseeing performance to meet project objectives Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) 7+ years of experience analyzing datasets and developing advanced analytics 7+ years of experience programming with data analysis tools such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a data science environment Familiarity with transitioning analytic prototypes into production within secure systems Strong knowledge of emerging machine learning algorithms and their operational applications Clearance Requirements:

An active

TS/SCI with Polygraph

is required to be considered for this position. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $138,700.00-$231,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
