This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Detroit Lakes community and surrounding areas. The facility features a Level III Trauma designated Emergency Department, women's/birthing center, ICU, OR, 24-hour CRNA services, imaging services including CT, MRI and digital mammography, and comprehensive laboratory services.
Opportunity:
Full-time Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Job Details:
• Provide emergency medicine care in a team-oriented, fast-paced ED environment• Work eight and 12-hour shifts (64 hours/pay period) in rotation with other providers• Provide care for patients of all ages; must be trained in Family Medicine• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills• Work both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals• Focus on health promotion and disease prevention while providing acute care• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (within six months of start)• Must possess strong customer service skills to build positive relationships• Education requirements: Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program• Previous Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred• Must maintain appropriate state licensure as an NP or PA and national certification• Qualifying NHSC Loan Repayment Site - eligible for loan repayment assistance
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
