Job description:

  • Deliver modified academic instruction to students with a range of disabilities in both inclusion and resource room settings.
  • Adapt lessons, curriculum, and materials to align with students IEP goals and individual needs.
  • Collaborate and consult with related service providers, fellow special educators, and general education teachers.
  • Supervise and provide direction to assigned paraprofessionals.
  • Conduct student assessments, prepare reports, and participate actively in IEP team meetings.
  • Write, implement, and monitor IEPs and progress reports; maintain accurate records and data.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and partnerships with parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

  • Valid NH Special Educator Certificate (#1900) or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students with a variety of disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies for differentiated learning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, service providers, and families.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
