Job description:
- Deliver modified academic instruction to students with a range of disabilities in both inclusion and resource room settings.
- Adapt lessons, curriculum, and materials to align with students IEP goals and individual needs.
- Collaborate and consult with related service providers, fellow special educators, and general education teachers.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned paraprofessionals.
- Conduct student assessments, prepare reports, and participate actively in IEP team meetings.
- Write, implement, and monitor IEPs and progress reports; maintain accurate records and data.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and partnerships with parents and guardians.
Qualifications:
- Valid NH Special Educator Certificate (#1900) or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students with a variety of disabilities.
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies for differentiated learning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, service providers, and families.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
