Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Function in capacities such as Controller, CFO, or Project Leader for clients.
- Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
- Prepare miscellaneous accounting reports.
- Lead and participate in ad hoc projects.
- Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform due diligence procedures for clients.
- Assist clients with SEC Reporting.
- Resolve complex accounting issues and support implementation of new accounting standards like ASC606 and ASC842.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with public, private, or private equity companies.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Experience in professional services and public accounting preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills preferred.
- CPA certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Technical skills appropriate to experience level.
- High professionalism under pressure.
- Team player with good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Fast learner, ethical, and effective worker.
- Ability to travel at least 50% (preferred).
