Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Data Security Specialists
to design, implement, and maintain robust security controls that protect cloud-based infrastructure and sensitive enterprise data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud security architecture and controls across public, private, and hybrid environments. Monitor and manage cloud security tools (e.g., CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, IAM, DLP). Develop and enforce data security strategies including encryption, access control, tokenization, and key management. Conduct regular risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability scans in cloud environments. Collaborate with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps). Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate incident response and forensic investigations. Implement and manage IAM policies, roles, SSO, MFA, and least-privilege access models. Ensure compliance with data protection laws and frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and CCPA. Work closely with audit and compliance teams to support audits and implement remediation plans. Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and technical guidelines. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 3-7+ years of experience in cloud security, data protection, or cybersecurity roles. Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Security Center). Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and load balancers. Proficiency in scripting or automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar). Knowledge of security frameworks: NIST, CIS Benchmarks, MITRE ATT&CK, etc. Preferred Certifications:
CISSP ,
CCSP ,
AWS Security Specialty ,
Azure Security Engineer Associate ,
GSEC , or equivalent.
