client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Credit Assistant - with lien experience
to join their team in California. This role is crucial in supporting credit and collections operations, ensuring efficient processing of daily activities such as accounts receivable collections, preliminary notices, and releases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team. Responsibilities
Manage collection procedures for accounts receivable and monitor financial data. Process preliminary notices, releases, and handle daily customer service inquiries promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer service concerns and ensure smooth credit operations. Support the Director of Credit & Collections with operational tasks and process improvements. Qualifications
Proven credit management and customer service skills. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail in handling financial data. Experience with debt collection and managing accounts receivable is required. Basic understanding of legal finance principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and thrive in both independent and team environments. Prior experience in the construction industry is REQUIRED. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. Benefits
Compensation is competitive, with a pay range of $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional Details
The position is full-time and requires a proactive approach to managing credit operations and supporting overall business objectives.
