Mechanical Assembler
to join our defense manufacturing team in
Elgin, OK . This entry-level opportunity is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to contribute to the assembly and testing of components used in military systems. Candidates will work closely with engineers to perform fabrication, test, and rework of mechanical and electromechanical parts in support of mission-critical projects. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, fabricate, and modify mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools and diagnostic equipment Work from
schematics, diagrams, layouts, and verbal or written instructions
to complete assignments Assist engineers with
setup, calibration, and testing Perform
quality checks and rework tasks
to ensure component compliance Document work performed and support process improvements Follow established
manufacturing and safety procedures
at all times Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Ability to follow
written work instructions, diagrams, and verbal directions Must be a
self-starter
who takes initiative and works well with minimal supervision Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using
basic hand tools Effective team player with a collaborative attitude Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience assembling
mechanical or military vehicle systems Familiarity with diagnostic and test equipment used in manufacturing Background in a
DoD or military manufacturing environment
