Title: Sr. Solution Architect - Orchestration/Workflow
Location: Remote with Travel required to Pittsburgh location
Travel Requirements Light travel required; approximately
4-6 days/month
to Pittsburgh location Architects will meet with bank teams
in person every 2-3 weeks , typically for
2-3 days per visit . Travel is
billable and expensed
per the bank's travel policy (preferred hotels, flights, etc.). these roles the hard requirement for Payment's experience - these individuals need to have expertise in delivery payment process solutions
3. Solutions Architect (Orchestrator) Focus : End-to-end orchestration of payment flows. Responsibilities :
Oversee the overall design and flow of payments across systems. Ensure seamless integration and coordination between components.
We're looking for a seasoned Sr. Solution Architect to design and implement end-to-end orchestration and workflow solutions across our client's banking platforms. This is a critical role that will help us modernize our client's processes, streamline customer journeys, and connect disparate systems, including legacy platforms and new cloud-native applications. You will be a key technical leader, responsible for ensuring our business processes are automated, resilient, and scalable.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or architecture, with at least 4 years focused on orchestration, business process management, or workflow automation. Demonstrable experience in the banking or financial services industry is a requirement. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise systems.
Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in workflow and orchestration concepts, including state machines, event-driven architectures, and business rule engines. Proficiency with modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs, serverless). Hands-on experience with orchestration or workflow tools. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and related services. Familiarity with microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
