Who They Are We've partnered with a service-driven, quality-focused provider of high-performance curtainwall, storefront, and glazing systems that's looking for a Project Manager to oversee glazing initiatives.
What You'll Do Manage all phases of glazing and exterior system projects-from pre-construction, budgeting, and scheduling to procurement, execution, and closeout Review project scope, contracts, specifications, and construction documents to ensure alignment with client expectations and design intent Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain seamless execution and communication Lead procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and managing deliveries of curtain wall, storefront systems, aluminum entrances, and composite cladding Oversee shop drawing review and submittal coordination; manage RFIs, change orders, and quality control procedures Monitor budgets, billing, invoicing, and earned value metrics to track project performance Supervise site activities, ensuring timelines, quality standards, safety, and code compliance are consistently met Manage project closeout documentation, including punch lists, inspections, and final handoffs to clients What You'll Need
Proven experience as a Project Manager in architectural glazing, curtain wall, metal panel, or storefront systems-ideally within commercial construction Strong technical and financial acumen (reading plans, defining scope, conducting take-offs, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics) Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging architects, GC teams, and field personnel Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project), and AutoCAD or similar drafting software Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple project components simultaneously Relevant education (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering) a plus Illinois-based or willing to commute to Chicago Benefits
