A mission-driven organization is seeking a

Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA), Level 2 , to support advanced cybersecurity operations. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for detecting and defending against cyber threats and a strong foundation in network analysis and system defense.

An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host logs to identify potential vulnerabilities and cyber incidents. Respond to ongoing threats and develop proactive mitigations to strengthen network security. Support network defense across various infrastructures, including wired and wireless networks, video conferencing platforms, and related hardware/software. Deepen expertise in network protocols, architectures, cloud security, IoT security, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with teams across military, government, and contractor domains to align on mission needs and intelligence goals. Use analytical tools and methodologies to evaluate, merge, and interpret large datasets. Clearly document and share findings, including any newly developed tradecraft, with relevant stakeholders. Network Engineering Systems Engineering Computer Science Cybersecurity Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering Information Assurance Information Technology Computer Forensics General Engineering Military & Equivalent Experience Considerations:

Up to

18 semester hours

of military coursework in cyber, networking, or computer science may be substituted for an Associate's degree. Military cyber training (e.g., JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, Cyber Defense Operations) may count toward experience (24-week programs = 6 months; 10-14 weeks = 3 months). Foreign language proficiency (with recent ILR scores) may also be credited toward experience in some cases. Relevant Experience Must Include:

Network/system administration Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing Cyber/network/information security Computer forensics & information assurance Software/hardware engineering and development Compensation:

Annual Salary Range:

$123,000 - $146,000 (USD) Compensation does

not

include discretionary bonuses or additional benefits. Final offer will be based on education, experience, skill level, and location. Security Clearance Requirement:

Candidates

must

have an

active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph .
