Laser Machine Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Set Up Machines: Prepare laser cutting equipment by selecting the right settings, tools, and materials based on job requirements.

• Read Blueprints & Drawings: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job orders to ensure accurate production.

• Operate Laser Cutting Machines: Use CO₂, fiber, or YAG laser machines to cut, engrave, or mark metal, plastic, wood, or other materials.

• Monitor Production: Oversee the cutting process to ensure accuracy, speed, and material efficiency; make real-time adjustments as needed.

• Inspect Finished Products: Perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to confirm dimensions and tolerances.

• Maintain Equipment: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to keep them in top working condition.

Laser Machine Operator Shift Info

• Weekend Shift: 05:00 am to 05:30 pm

• Friday- Sunday

Maintenance Qualifications (Requirements / Skills

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines (e.g., CO2, fiber, or YAG) to cut, engrave, or mark materials according to specifications.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and material requirements.

• Adjust machine settings (speed, power, focus, gas pressure) for optimal performance based on material type and thickness.

• Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy; make adjustments as needed.

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervisors.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the laser machine to ensure optimal function.

• Maintain accurate records of production, including job completion, material usage, and machine performance.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and improve workflow efficiency.

• Able to pass a background check 

• Able to work in the US
