JTA Deliveries, Inc. is hiring: AVP FedEx Driver in Pearl

JTA Deliveries, a privately owned company that has contracts with FedEx Ground to service the Pearl, MS Ground Terminal area.  

We are looking for the Personal Vehicle Delivery individuals to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences out of your own vehicle.  If you are a HARDWORKING, RELIABLE, TEAM FOCUSED individual, the possibility of growth within this company is yours.  We are fast growing and want enthusiastic individuals to grow with us.  

This business has a need for full and part-time drivers to fill various schedules.  

REQUIREMENTS, Driver must:

Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license.

Have a qualified, reliable passenger vehicle for work.

2010 or newer passenger vehicles only

No Cargo vans or commercial trucks

Copy of registration 

Copy of valid insurance

Color photos of 4 sides of the vehicle used

Photo of manufacturer plate (for GVWR)

**Passenger and personal-type vehicles that are accepted include sedans, station wagons, SUVs, mini vans and pick up trucks (covered and locked bed cover) 

The vehicle can only be 15 years old or newer.  2010 and above.....NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if older than 15 years.**

Be able to manage your own fuel and maintenance

Be able to read, speak and write English

Be of legal status to work in the USA, we E-Verify.

Be on site at the terminal ON TIME and ready to work each work day.  

Be able to work in all types of weather.

Safety is of utmost importance.

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Efficiently load vehicle for delivery day.
• Safely and accurately operate scanner to deliver and effectively track delivery process.  
• Consistently deliver entire route in the time window specified. 
• Work independently and as part of a team.  
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operations personnel.
