NOW HIRING: UNLOADERS IN NEWPORT NEWS, VA!
The Lee Group is seeking reliable and hardworking Unloaders to support a fast-paced warehouse team in Newport News, VA. If you’re physically fit, detail-oriented, and have experience in a warehouse environment, this is your opportunity to join a company that values efficiency and teamwork. Forklift experience is a plus!
Position: Unloader / Forklift Operator
Pay: $15.00/hour
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift
Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision
Responsibilities of Unloader / Forklift Operator:
  • Unload inbound shipments efficiently and safely
  • Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move products to proper storage locations
  • Break down and sort pallets as needed
  • Check incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized unloading zones
  • Use RF scanners to update inventory systems
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
  • Assist team members and contribute to overall productivity
What We’re Looking For:
  • Prior experience in unloading, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Forklift certification or experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills for order and inventory tracking
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Good coordination and ability to navigate around moving equipment and vehicles
