Closing Date: Until Filled RECREATION GAME MANAGER The Parks and Recreation Department at Mechanicsburg Area School District is seeking a part-time Game Manager.
DUTIES:
This part-time role includes game responsibilities such as game manager, operating the scoreboard/clock, collecting admissions, assisting with field or gym setup, and ensuring a safe, organized environment for participants and spectators. This position serves as an on-site game manager during youth and/or adult sports events. The position is responsible for assisting with facility monitoring to ensure safety and proper conduct. The incumbent would be responsible for communicating with coaches, referees, players and spectators in a professional manner, reporting any incidents or concerns to the recreation supervisor, and always representing the department positively.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be 18+ years of age 2. High School Diploma/GED required 3. Previous experience in sports, officiating or facility support 4. Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Any individual who is to be considered for employment must provide school district officials with a valid Criminal History Record Clearance form, a valid Child Abuse History Clearance form, FBI Clearance, Act 168 form(s), and an I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) form.
