Primary Purpose:
Work under supervision of the Food Service Director to prepare and serve food to students and staff that meet Texas Department of Agriculture Food & Nutrition requirements. Maintain high standards of food handling production, sanitation, safety, and health practices.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED & Food Handlers Certification Special Knowledge/Skills: a. Always follow all health and safety requirements. b. Understand written and verbal directions to prepare meals. c. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures. d. Operate large and small kitchen equipment. e. Knowledge of food service line set-up and temperature requirements. f. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards. g. Be a "TEAM" player with fellow staff members and school district staff. h. Complete the required continuing education training requirements. i. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Days Of Employment : 188
Compensation : Hourly pay based on experience.
