Bradford Construction

has multiple Construction Project Management vacancies for experienced Project Managers or Superintendents. These openings all support public agency clients/projects, and are based in field offices in New York City.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Administer and coordinate design and construction activities for complex and/or high-visibility projects. Manage project planning, problem-solving, and execution to ensure smooth project delivery. Uphold quality, compliance, and performance standards across all consultants, vendors, and contractors. Review design and construction documents to identify and resolve errors early in the process. Collaborate with architects and engineers on change orders, technical issues, and document interpretations to ensure code-compliant, structurally sound, and visually cohesive facilities. Maintain continuous communication with contractors, construction managers, school personnel, and senior project staff. Make key decisions on project phasing and scheduling; prepare and monitor timelines to ensure adherence across all stakeholders. Contribute to the development and enforcement of project policies in line with Authority-wide procedures. Mentor and support junior project officers, offering guidance on project execution and problem-solving. Resolve field issues raised by architects and construction managers, including making on-site decisions and negotiating change orders. Review contractor claims and disputes; compile necessary documentation and advise senior management on appropriate resolutions. Perform related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements:

At least five years of relevant experience, with significant exposure to managing all phases of construction work. Valid New York or New Jersey State driver's license. Construction management experience with public agencies in NYC is strongly preferred. Experience with education projects - K-12 or Higher Education - is also strongly preferred.

Education:

Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. #LI-Onsite #ZR

Salary

$90,000-$125,000 USD
