We are currently seeking

.NET Architect

to join our corporate Application Development team. This position reports to the Director, IT Architecture & Digital Transformation team and is a remote hybrid office position. Occasional visits to the corporate office in King of Prussia, PA are available to those who are local to the area. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa. The budgeted salary is $130,000 - $135,000 with a 10% target bonus opportunity.

What You Will Do:

The .NET Architect is responsible for the architecture, design and development efforts of API's and web-based applications. This position will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise in solutions. This role will also be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture of software projects by collaborating with other Developers, Business Analysts, and the Quality Assurance team during all phases of the SDLC. Additional responsibilities include: Design and implementation of complete solutions and applications as well as APIs to support business applications Diagram software architectures, application of design patterns Design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications using best practices and relevant software design patterns Mentor and educate other developers and technical staff on best practices and standards, as well as lead training and onboarding sessions with new employees Lead system integration projects with internal and external systems Apply knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and applications to system architecture and code Adhere to and enforce coding standards and security policies set forth by the department and company Maintain and improve development and production application environments Create clear and concise technical documentation Expected hands-on coding and mentoring of developers is 50%, the other 50% is focused on architecture About you:

You have at least 7 years of related IT experience with Application Development and .NET You have experience developing using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, MVC and WebAPI You are knowledgeable with HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, and JavaScript You have experience utilizing Azure Devops or other Source Control systems You have experience refactoring legacy applications for the cloud and experience with CI/CD You can demonstrate experience in the creation of technical requirements, diagrams, UML, and other technical documentation You are familiar with common Architectural patterns, including Repository, Factory, and Singleton You have a solid understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP, and API design for extensibility and portability You can effectively explain complex technologies to business leaders as well as communicate effectively with other team members including technical and non-technical members You have solid analytical ability for understanding functional requirements and translating them into technical designs Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
