Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of multi-cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data lakes and cloud-native applications. This role is critical to ensuring the scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud operations across AWS and GCP platforms.
As a hands-on technical expert, you will own infrastructure automation, workload migration, and CI/CD pipeline integration. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and driving FinOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain core cloud infrastructure for data lakes across AWS and GCP. Develop infrastructure landing zones and manage conference codes in the cloud. Automate infrastructure using Terraform and native scripting tools. Lead cloud workload migration efforts and ensure seamless transitions. Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement cloud infrastructure requirements. Partner with FinOps to monitor and optimize cloud spend. Own infrastructure build and maintenance in coordination with architecture teams. Redesign core infrastructure components to improve performance and scalability. Integrate Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and deployment. Key Requirements
7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles. Deep expertise in AWS and GCP; familiarity with Azure is a plus. Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, and infrastructure scripting languages. Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and multi-cloud strategies. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. Proven track record in workload migration and infrastructure modernization. Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies. Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
