Expeditor

Job Type:
Direct Hire Pay Rate:
$60,000-$70,000/year Benefits:

Expeditor Responsibilities: Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules Identify and address potential delays, working with vendors to expedite shipments. Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation and resolve shipping issues. Receive shipments of materials and examine deliveries to ensure accuracy Provide status updates to project managers and the procurement department on material availability Ensure timely turnaround of goods Facilitate the flow of materials between departments and parties Address supply chain disruptions and take corrective actions Collaborate with management to assess supplier and vendor reliability Maintain accurate records Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Identify areas of improvement Other duties as assigned Expeditor Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills Excellent organization skills Excellent time management skills Excellent multitasking abilities Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Ability to travel as needed Microsoft Office Suite proficiency ERP System proficiency Expeditor Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain within the material handling, industrial equipment, or manufacturing industries. Previous experience managing supply chain and project schedules. Expeditor
