Market Lead & Client Engagement (40%): Take charge of business development initiatives by leveraging established client relationships. Foster new business growth through collaborative efforts between Sales and Marketing. Act as a representative of Catalyst Construction in various client interactions, supporting business and sales goals. Collaborate with the Estimating Department to review internal estimates and present them to clients as required. Conduct essential client service visits throughout the project lifecycle, from acquisition to pre-construction and project close-out, ensuring fulfillment of project commitments and resolving any issues. Project Leadership (40%): Provide oversight and ensure accountability for multiple project teams concurrently. Manage contract administration responsibilities, encompassing negotiation of AIA contract terms, handling change requests, managing invoices and progress payments, and coordinating with Catalyst's CFO for risk management. Establish and implement financial objectives for projects, communicating projected gross profit and net profit. Assume responsibility for the financial outcomes of all supervised projects, reviewing monthly project financials and leading quarterly meetings with Project Managers to discuss financial aspects. Review the work performed by the Project Management Team and other operational staff assigned to active projects. Exercise thoughtful planning and decision-making to ensure project success. Attend assigned meetings and training sessions. Complete projects as assigned. Team Management (20%): Provide training and mentorship to new team members, actively promoting the organizational culture. Delegate job assignments and review workload as necessary. Proactively address interpersonal issues and conflicts as they arise. Lead performance evaluations and compensation reviews for direct reports. Support employee development and facilitate career conversations, including offering feedback for promotions or additional professional growth opportunities. Over a decade of experience in Construction Management. Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new projects and engaging with potential clients. Previous experience managing multiple high-level projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. Possesses reliable transportation. Exhibits a high level of Emotional Intelligence when interacting with colleagues and clients across all organizational levels. Maintains a strict level of confidentiality and professionalism when engaging with Owners/Clients. Shows a strong desire to train, manage, and lead a team of professionals. Possesses advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methodologies. Expertise in building products, construction details, and adherence to safety regulations.
