PURPOSE OF POSITION: Reporting to the Banquet Manager, a banquet houseman responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas. You must routinely inventory and care for banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, china, glassware, flatware and decorations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma preferred

EXPERIENCE:

1 year as a banquet house person or housekeeping house person preferred. • Ability to lift, carry and transport relatively heavy equipment • Has a friendly, positive attitude • Good communication skills • Leadership ability • Pro-active • Excellent organizational skills. • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor. • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork. • Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
