and build trusted relationships with farmers, ranchers, and producers across Kansas. In this consultative sales role, you'll promote and sell
crop protection, crop nutrients, and seed products
while providing agronomic insights that help producers thrive. This role combines technical knowledge, customer service, and
on-the-farm engagement
to deliver value to the agricultural community.
Key Responsibilities
Execute sales plans to achieve sales goals and profitability targets. Deliver on-the-farm presentations to promote products and services. Evaluate customer programs and recommend tailored agronomic solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. Create reports and proposals to support sales and marketing plans. Provide agronomy training and product knowledge support to customers. Monitor fertilizer and crop protection applications for accuracy. Partner with sales, operations, and technical staff to enhance service delivery. Demonstrate
cross-selling success
by expanding customer wallet share. Promote and follow all
safety standards
and operational guidelines. Required Experience
High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of
sales, business development, or operations
experience. Strong math skills for fertilizer/chemical formulations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field. Agronomy sales experience. Proficiency in
MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Skills & Traits
Strong customer service focus. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, self-starter with excellent decision-making ability. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Team player with leadership potential. Benefits
