SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing leadership while executing inventory transactions inside the Packaging Room. In addition, this position actively engages in daily operations and is engaged in supporting policies and procedures in accordance with the company Vision, and Strategic Objectives. Packaging IC must have good oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with and direct a team environment are critical. Will communicate deviations and/or concerns to management. The Packaging IC main responsibility is to control the RAF (Report as finish) and material consumption of material in AX, in addition to, this position is responsible to control the inventory movements such as transfer, Return to stock etc.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for report as finish (RAF) and consumption of materials in AX for the packaging room. Will ensure consumption and RAF are consistent & accurate. RAF and consume in real time across all the packaging lines. Receive pending transfers that are needed for consumption if needed. Create, validate and receive material transfer in the system AX if needed. Support and validate transfers that are being brought in the room by the material handlers. Randomly spot check material being brought to back and front side of the work-centers. Consolidate materials after a batch order is completed (Return to stock material left) Provide support / training to Operators & Line Leads as needed when it comes to filling out consumption paperwork. Assist with printing pallet ID's when time permits Maintain necessary records for bookkeeping and customer audits. Maintain work environment in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. Maintain and uphold general housekeeping Assist with evaluating the performance of coworkers. Carries out all instructions from Operations Manager efficiently. Provide feedback to Operations Manager regarding Line Leads & Operators that are not reporting consumption accurately. Create a team working environment. Ability to motivate through hands-on leadership Works in accord with all safety regulations of production. Assists every work center by lifting and moving objects. Prepares and maintains inventory records per batch order producing. Clean BO's throughout each period for proper filing. Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Standing on a concrete floor. Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform). Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Required to work weekends during peak season. Required to work mandatory overtime when needed. EDUCATION LEVEL
High School Diploma or GED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Requires physical and mental alertness. Thorough understanding of AX, consumption and RAF. Attentiveness and stamina for 8-hour work shift each day. Stand for full 8-hour shift. Organization skills. Verbal, written and math proficiency General safety awareness. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent attention to details.
