Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting. Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in medical status. Provide post-operative, orthopedic, neuro-compromised, and cardiopulmonary patient care. Support patient safety during therapies including oxygen, IV infusion, traction, and tube feeding. Maintain patient rooms, including cleaning and linen changes. Sterilize equipment and supplies as needed. Foster a caring and respectful environment for patients, their families, and the care team. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire). Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of therapeutic diets and patient-specific meal distribution. Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard office technology is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork. Schedule:
40 hours/week
Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM (rotating weekends and holidays) Night Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM (rotating weekends and holidays)
