Title: Quality Control Technician Location: Bay Point, CA 94565 Pay Range: $22-$26/h on W2 Duration: 12+ months Schedule: One shift will be for Saturday night to Wednesday night 10pm - 630am. The other shift will be for Monday night to Friday night 10pm-6:30am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures and regulations. • Conducts all laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to the site safety practices, use of lab equipment, 5S, etc • Perform all work in strict adherence to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs). • Reviews and provides recommended improvements to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs). • Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to defined instructions, procedures and methods. • Executes lab testing and generates test data, documentation and lab reports. • Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcome. • Provides support for projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisors. • Assists in maintaining project timelines. • Employs basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates. • Take on equipment ownership and responsible for maintaining safe operation of the assigned equipment. • Reporting of lab results and methods according to accepted company lab practices; results, reports and observations will be communicated to internal/external customers. • Records data in Excel or lab notebooks, processes documentation, computer databases such as SAP • Maintains lab equipment in proper working order and performs verifications. • Troubleshoots instrumentation failures. • Participates in measuring system analysis testing. • Participates in customer and regulatory audits. • Participates in continuous improvement efforts. • Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing. • May train other technicians regarding equipment operation and/or test procedures.

Physical Requirements • Work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, and equipment • Frequently sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times. • Stand continuously and walk frequently during the shift. • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance, 100 pounds with assistance and push/pull up to 600 pounds with mechanical assistance • Tool use including operations requiring dexterity in hands • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Corrective lenses are adequate for job requirements

QC Lab Specialist 1 Reporting directly to Quality Control Supervisor, the QC Lab Specialist is responsible for testing chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of materials to determine conformance to standards and specifications. • Strong commitment to safety, with demonstrated investment in safety improvement activities • Solid interpersonal skills, must be able to work as a team member and independently on multi-task assignments • High school diploma/GED and experience working in a chemical laboratory preferred. • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically excel tabling and charting, SAP, and other database experience preferred. • Familiar with analytical equipment, wet chemistry techniques, and/or mechanical testing apparatuses. • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and ability to drive projects to desired results. • Sound communication skills, focused on problem solving and interdepartmental teamwork. • Ability to balance changing priorities in a dynamic team environment. • Ability to work on requested shift. Training rotations may occur on a different shift than the application states, and can take 1-3 months to complete. Shifts may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts as well as weekends.
