Every Other Weekend (EOW) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced
ICU RN
to provide high-quality, independent patient care in a dynamic critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience, preferably CVICU, and be a self-starter capable of managing a variety of critical care scenarios. Key Responsibilities: Provide patient care in the ICU, ED, Stepdown, and Med-Surg units as needed (floating required). Utilize EMR systems (Cerner preferred) for documentation and care coordination. Monitor and operate critical care equipment including: Balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Artic Sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and Rapid Infuser. Respond to emergencies and provide advanced care per protocols. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements: RN License:
Active NH or Compact RN license at time of submission. Experience:
2–3 years ICU experience (strong candidates with 2 years acceptable if self-starter and independent). CVICU experience preferred – highlight on CV if available. Certifications Required:
BLS & ACLS. Preferred Certifications:
TNCC, PALS, CCRN. References:
2 recent specialty Charge/Manager RN references. EMR Experience:
Cerner preferred but not required. Driver’s License:
Must match demographic address. RTO:
Must be included at time of submission. Additional Information: Local candidates preferred (within 50 miles). First-time travelers will not be considered. Flexible and able to float to other units including ED, Stepdown, and Med-Surg with modified assignments.
