Nesco Resource is looking for a Quality Inspector located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Pay:
$23-$26/hour depending on experience
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for inspecting and testing materials, components, and products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. The Quality Inspector will use precision measuring instruments, perform visual inspections, and maintain accurate records of findings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product conformance. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records. Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or deviations from specifications. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications:
Previous experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Experience with MS office and SAP Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
