Position Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Duration: Prefer EST - CST being the farthest
Location: Fully Remote
The Developer will be responsible for building reporting products and standard datasets, using an array of diverse technologies, including Tableau and AWS technologies. This position will work on a small team solving high-priority challenges relating to educational content development.

Cultivate and maintain knowledge of Client products, data systems and information assets. Develop data-driven reporting solutions from concept to deployment. Support and understand the business need from the user perspective. Focus on designing and developing effective user-friendly reporting assets including interfaces and outputs. Support and maintain reporting artifacts and data in development and production. Follow best practices around version control, unit tests, and automated build processes. Work with a highly proficient team using Tableau/Tableau Server, SQL, Relational/Columnar Databases, Data Modeling, MS Office. Work with other teams leveraging AWS technology components (e.g. S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Glue, etc.). Contribute towards a standard visualization guide style guide. Exhibit good communication and practical decision-making skills; a believer in good feedback and documentation. Evaluate alternative solutions and choose the right tool for the job. Qualifications:
BA/BS required (major in an analytical field desired). minimum of 5 to 10+ years of work related experience. Experience in hands-on development of reporting applications for the Web in a professional environment. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability. bility to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Versed on the agile methodology and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work with a diverse set of colleagues, across functions, from different organizations, disciplines, etc. Self-starter, ability to set priorities, work independently and attain goals.
