We are currently building world-class institutes for the treatment of diabetes and cancer. We are looking for a Senior Plumber to join the team! This position Installs, inspects, maintains and repairs all steam and chilled water, sanitary and waste, natural gases, acid, anesthesia gases, water, compressed air, vacuum and distilled water piping systems.

Duties: Install piping and plumbing equipment as it relates to remodels and new facility construction on campus by adhering to city and state building codes. Works from blueprints or drawings. Troubleshoots and repairs problems with compressed air systems, fans, pumps, water systems, lab systems, sanitary, waste systems and other plumbing and equipment on campus. Maintains inventory of parts and supplies. Contacts vendors to locate and price needed materials and prepare order forms for materials needed to repair defective watering systems. May fabricate or repair equipment through welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering. Performs preventive maintenance on piping systems, equipment, and other systems. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of any site support position to include assisting any skilled trade. Some overtime/snow ice duty, and on-call work required. Job Requirements

Required education:

High School diploma or GED or Trade School Certificate

AND:

24 months plumbing experience Certifications/ Licenses:

Must hold a current plumber journeyman's license with the State of Oklahoma or ability to obtain with 6 months from hire date

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of plumbing building codes Advanced knowledge of plumbing methods and theories for repairs and installations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Uses tools or equipment in a manner requiring some training or instruction Ability to read and interpret routine written or printed materials Basic math Working Conditions:

Physical:

Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 45 lbs. Regular exposure to physically demanding tasks such as digging, lifting, bending and stooping.

Environmental:

Exposure to extreme temperature changes and handling dirty materials. Exposure to odors.
