Spray Dry Packing Operator - 3rd shift

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Pack production batches and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. • Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents • Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning • Transfer materials, set up equipment, supplies and packaging materials efficiently. • Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in making our products. • Promptly observe and clearly communicate food or other product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management. • Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's safety policies. • Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. • Consume required materials using RF scanner and accurately report batch quantities. • Must have attention to detail and can perform basic mathematics. • Ability to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary • Must follow safety requirements, forklift policy and wear required PPE. • Ability to problem solve and communicate when something is wrong and to recognize and report the problem. • Ability to work overtime when necessary. • Ability to learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures. • Ability to learn and consistently complete required documentation and record-keeping requirements.
