Job Title: R&D Associate Principal Scientist Job Location: Plano, TX Shift: 8AM-5PM, M-F

Job Description: The Associate Principal Scientist will lead seasoning development across multiple brands and products within the R&D Seasonings & Flavor team, with opportunities to work on consumer-loved brands such as Client's, Miss Vickie's, Cheetos, STAX, Meals, Dips, and Sauces. This role involves flavor strategy, culinary and seasoning development, supplier partnerships, processing & scale-up, and technical specifications. The position is integral to our pep+ agenda, driving strategic planning and innovation programs to expand our portfolio with products that are better for people and the planet. Key Responsibilities: Lead seasoning and flavor innovation from idea inception to commercialization across multiple brands. Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to develop and launch product innovations, aligned with pep+ technology roadmaps. Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to identify new technologies, design new seasonings, and commercialize new ingredients. Provide technical and business risk assessments related to product development and R&D strategic objectives. Apply scientific and experimental design principles to solve technical problems and create robust seasoning designs. Leverage internal and external experts for analytical and sensory research. Travel requirement: up to 40%. Qualifications / Requirements

BS + 8 years, MS + 4 years, or PhD + 2 years in R&D or manufacturing/production environment within foods, seasonings, flavors, ingredients, or Client industry. Willing to travel, typically up to 40% and will be going to Canada - will need passport etc. Ability to translate business objectives into strategic and tactical project goals. Strong cross-functional influence, collaboration, and communication skills (oral & written). Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deliver results, and overcome obstacles. Knowledge of seasoning system setup, operation, quality control, and troubleshooting (preferred). Education :

BS / MS / PhD in Food Science, Chemistry, Ingredient Science, or Chemical Engineering. Preferred Qualifications:

Product or process development. Seasoning & flavor development. Ingredient science or culinary innovation.
