Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a well-established general contractor operating in the Southeast, with a strong presence in the Savannah market. Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish. Assist with managing project schedules, budgets, and contract documents. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance. Monitor project progress and help identify potential risks, delays, or issues. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, RFIs, and change orders. Participate in site visits, progress meetings, and inspections. Support jobsite safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status. Experience with ground up or remodel projects. Experience with commercial projects required. Experienced with Healthcare, Higher Education, Aviation or Light Industrial builds preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred.
