Job Description - Radiology Tech-Hart Industrial Clinic (7469-10593) Frye Regional Hart Industrial Clinic Description $10,000 Sign on Bonus Eligible Job Summary Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Company Description Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care hospital, an 81-bed Behavioral Health facility, and has more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. Essential Functions Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered, within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating procedures. Enters, transmits, and reports scan results. Benefits - Wide range of options!
