JOB SUMMARY

The Injection Mold Operator is responsible for operating plastic injection molding presses to produce high-quality Microplates used in laboratories worldwide. The operator inspects parts for compliance with specifications, performs stacking and bagging, and digitally records production data. This role requires strict adherence to documented procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate injection molding presses in accordance with documented procedures in the Traveler package. Inspect parts coming off the molding press to ensure they meet specifications. Stack, bag, and prepare parts for shipment. Record production data digitally and on production forms, including scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments. Follow department work schedule to maintain continuity of production, including proper break and lunch adherence. Stop production and notify the supervisor if product does not meet specifications. Use calibrated measuring instruments properly and ensure all tools are functioning correctly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow all safety and housekeeping requirements. Apply ISO procedures and quality policies to control nonconforming products and prevent unintended shipment. Segregate and properly mark all products not meeting specifications. REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience operating injection molding presses or working as a production/machine operator in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must have hands-on production experience producing parts. CNC experience alone is not transferable. Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and processes. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written). Desire to be part of a motivated and energetic team. Bilingual communication skills are a plus. Knowledge of ISO procedures and quality policy preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing in a controlled production environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
