Job Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for all staff, clients, and visitors. The individual in this role will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility meets health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and common areas. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Refill and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs. Report any major repairs or safety hazards to a supervisor. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and safely. Follow all health and safety regulations. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is a plus. Ability to handle basic cleaning equipment and materials. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Working Conditions:
This role may involve exposure to various cleaning chemicals and dust. Work may be performed in different areas of the building, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 Per Hour
