Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7am - 4:30pm Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Valid State license required Certifications: National registration required, BLS certification required Must-Have: Graduate of an approved School of Radiology and an NMTCB-approved School of Nuclear Medicine 1-year previous experience preferred Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ability to rotate to off-site imaging locations Phlebotomy skills as required Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform general duties in Nuclear Medicine. Responsibilities include technical and operational procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and patient care. Imaging study performance, including injections and administering radiopharmaceuticals, is essential. Assisting with the training of other staff and inventory control is required. Patient scheduling also falls under this role. Compliance with regulatory agency requirements concerning Nuclear Medicine is a priority.
