We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager (Water/Wastewater) who will collaborate with our team to guide and support the delivery of our projects to serve our clients in Chattanooga, TN, and surrounding areas, to implement consistent design and delivery processes, and to achieve our project financial and quality goals. You will work with the program/project delivery team and plant operations team to meet our client project expectations and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice. You will be able to leverage your people management skills to optimize your teams performance and consistently deliver high-quality technical solutions for our clients. What you will be doing
Lead the delivery of projects by developing and executing contracts, overseeing other consultants and contractors to ensure quality processes, supporting construction oversight activities, and mentoring/training project engineers. Support the client service and sales team to win new work through developing solutions and leveraging client relationships. Lead and manage teams through all project phasesplanning, execution, and closeoutto meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements. Demonstrate leadership by example with integrity and candor to support Jacobs culture and values. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field 7+ years of experience managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects Progressive experience in wastewater, water, operations and maintenance consulting, or related services Understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history of leading delivery teams to meet client expectations Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, collaborative work practices, strong data analysis and problem solving, and strong organizational skills Project management, staff management, and business development experience Ability to lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects Ideally, you will also have Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field 10+ years of progressive experience in water or wastewater infrastructure design Tennessee Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain a PE license in Tennessee Benefits and compensation
