Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Crown Point, IN. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $35 / hour Job Summary: We are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering outstanding pediatric dental care. We pride ourselves on creating positive experience for children and families in a modern, team-oriented environment where patient comfort, safety, and quality care comes first. Job Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures. Educate children and parents in oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Take and process dental radiographs as directed. Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments. Assist dentists chairside during dental treatments and ensure patient comfort. Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure instruments are properly sterilized. Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. Provide reassurance and comfort to pediatric patients before, during and after treatment. Required Skills & Experience: One year of hands-on experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. Ability to build trust and rapport with children and their families. Proficiency in routine clinical tasks such as taking x-rays, setting up/breaking down rooms, and passing instruments. Required Education: Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. Required Certifications & Licensure: X-ray training or certification. CPR. Coronal Polishing certification. Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
