Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,706 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Vascular IR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours, 4 shifts per week, with call/late shifts required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a cardiac/vascular interventional lab License: Valid driver’s license Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS Required Must-Have: Proficient in two or more specialties as defined by the department; vascular experience preferred Description: Cover both vascular and neuro procedures. Two years’ experience in a cardiac/vascular interventional lab is required. Proficiency in neuro procedures such as cerebral interventions, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting is necessary. Participation in on-call rotation is required, with availability for emergent procedures 24 hours a day. Monitors and interprets hemodynamic monitoring. Observes sterile technique while assembling necessary supplies for physicians and lab personnel. Maintains confidentiality of patient and unit information. Prepares entry site applicable to procedures using sterile technique. Continuously monitors patients’ ECG and blood pressure while documenting and advising the physician. Acts as a member of the laboratory's code team by initiating resuscitative measures under physician supervision. Documents all procedures performed accurately and utilizes the inventory control system. Participates in educational and in-service opportunities. Instructs radiography students in patient positioning and equipment manipulation. Maintains specialization in neuroradiology and vascular interventional radiology procedures.
