We are seeking a highly motivated
Assistant Property Manager
to support the day-to-day operations of a large multifamily residential property in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will bring a strong customer service mindset, excellent organizational skills, and experience in residential property management. Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repairs, unit turnovers, and capital improvements. Monitor rent collections, assist with delinquency follow-ups, and support financial reporting and budget tracking. Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Help ensure the property is in compliance with all local NYC housing regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records, including lease files, vendor contracts, inspections, and resident communications. Participate in inspections, audits, and move-in/move-out procedures to ensure a high standard of quality and service. Support marketing and leasing efforts, including apartment showings and application processing. Qualifications
2+ years of experience in residential or multifamily property management. Familiarity with NYC housing regulations and building codes is a strong plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is preferred. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Seniority level
