Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required License: Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required Description: The CT technologist performs diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency. This is done under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead. The technologist follows established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. Ensuring patient safety in all procedures is a key responsibility. Providing excellent customer service is essential. Skill sets required include CT scanning at a high level of proficiency. The ability to administer IV and oral/GI contrast is necessary. Responding effectively in an emergency is a critical requirement. EMR documentation capabilities are needed, particularly with Epic and Visage. Effective communication and organization skills are important. A professional and positive demeanor must be demonstrated.
