Travel Radiology Tech - $2,746 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 40 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years specific to Interventional and Neuro Interventional Radiology experience, preferably at a Level 1 Trauma center License: ARRT-R or RCIS Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to scrub and assist in procedures - Ability to circulate and operate on the backend for procedures - Knowledgeable about imaging equipment Description: This is a comprehensive role within the Interventional Radiology department. The facility has 10 specialized rooms for Interventional Radiology. On average, the department processes 46 to 50 cases daily. The patient types include Stroke, Cancer, Tumors, and blocked vessels. There is an emphasis on procedures related to Peripheral, Carotid, IVC, and SVC treatments. Neuro cases may include Stroke, Ruptures, Subdural fistulas, and complex procedures. The Body section addresses complex bleeds and oncology services, like liver cancer interventions. The team includes 3 tech extenders for support through transport and inventory. There are 2 techs per room, ensuring adequate support during procedures. The techs will work with a variety of imaging technologies, including Siemens, GE, and Philips systems. Weekend rotation is required every 7th to 8th weekend. Call is expected once per week, from 1600 until the last case is complete. Holiday work is mandated for 75% of scheduled holidays. Scheduling is done in an 8-week cycle. The department fosters a culture that supports new graduates. Techs should be comfortable working with recent graduates and providing mentorship if needed.
