The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) offers expert support across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian agencies, and international markets. We provide analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our clients make informed decisions on complex issues. Our Team

The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group within JOID applies multidisciplinary analytic skills to support DoD clients such as OUSD(R&E), OUSD(A&S), DARPA, the Joint Staff, and USINDOPACOM. We assist in maintaining technological superiority and delivering resilient capabilities to the warfighter efficiently and effectively. Our team comprises military, technical, and operations research analysts skilled in evaluating military problems, devising innovative approaches, developing software tools, and providing assessments to inform technology and acquisition decisions. Position: Cyber Technology Transition Support Analyst (SETA)

We are seeking a candidate to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering 5+ years of relevant experience in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or similar cyber and crypto defense efforts Active DoD Secret clearance Experience with artificial intelligence and data science Ability to work fully onsite based on client needs

Desired:

Active DoD Top Secret clearance Experience with IPOE, OPE, and operational planning related to cyber operations Prior military or contractor experience supporting cyber efforts for commands like JSOC or USSOCOM

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide expertise in reverse engineering and vulnerability research to support DARPA's cyber offensive and defensive solutions. Responsibilities include supporting technology transition, software analysis, vulnerability research, and reverse engineering for cybersecurity operations. The role involves leading efforts to implement new and existing technologies, supporting system engineering and security teams, and developing research and technical products to address national cyber security issues.
