Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Client Fetal Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Client Fetal Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in Client Fetal Medicine License: Active and valid state license required Certifications: RDMS-OB, Nuchal Translucency Must-Have: 1. Experience in OB examinations and high-risk OB. 2. Skills in Doppler studies and M-Mode. 3. Ability to perform Ultrasound guided invasive procedures. Description: The registered sonographer will work closely with providers, genetic counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and patient care representatives. The facility sees an average of 50-100 patients per day among multiple providers. Responsibilities will include performing various OB exams and a few GYN pelvic exams following procedures. The OB exams include First Trimester Viability, Nuchal Translucency, and various anatomical surveys. Other tasks include cervical length assessments, biophysical profiles, ultrasound-guided invasive procedures, and fetal echocardiography. Registered sonographers will encounter a wide range of patient diagnoses, including congenital cardiac defects and fetal growth restrictions. The facility accommodates multiple add-ons throughout the day. Sonographers are required to be certified for certain examinations and must adhere to safety guidelines, including vaccination requirements. Candidates must be prepared to discuss a possibility of a permanent position if mutually agreed upon. Travelers are only permitted to submit for one job ID at a time. RTO should be kept to a minimum, and any requests must be included in the initial submission. Floating may be required based on client policies and standards. Modules will factor into the overall onboarding experience, with specific training recorded by the facility's training team.
