Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to help elevate our guest experience with exceptional service at every touch point during a guest or patron's visit to our property. This highly visible role requires an energetic and personable individual who will create warm and memorable first impressions by welcoming guests as they arrive. As the first point of contact in the hotel, the Lobby Ambassador plays a vital role in setting the tone for the overall guest experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. What You Will Do: Greets guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel. Assists guests descending from cars. Gives verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot. Opens hotel doors for all guests. Direct hotel guests to the Front Desk for check in Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc. Greets all guests passing through Front Door and offers them assistance. What You Bring: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone, between co-workers and guests/patrons. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner; fill all reasonable guest requests or requirements; anticipate guest needs. Previous hotel front desk and/or hospitality experience is strongly preferred but not required. Excellent reading, writing, & oral proficiency in the English language. High school education or equivalent. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
