Travel Mammography Tech - $2,386 per week in Bryan, TX

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 8H Days M-F Hours per Shift: 0800-1630 Experience: 5 years License: Texas Rad license Certifications: BLS, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: - 5 years or greater experience - Needle localization procedures experience - Potentially stereotactic biopsies experience Description: Profiles will go directly to the unit for consideration. This position will float between two campuses when needed. Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. Department includes Radiology - Mammography. Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammograms required. Needle localization procedures are part of the job duties. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is 15-18. Familiarity with MEDITECH and MAGVIEW for charting is required. Department specific equipment includes Hologic machinery. No registered radiology assistants are utilized in this department. Radiologists are in-house. Starting IVs is not applicable to the department. No weekend or holiday requirements. There is no call or standby requirement.
