Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Job Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and helping doctors during surgeries. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict aseptic techniques. Ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and accounted for before, during, and after procedures. Support various surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotic-assisted surgeries. Handle and label specimens correctly for lab analysis. Adhere to hospital protocols regarding laser safety, radiation safety, fire safety, and universal protocols. Respond flexibly to call, weekend, and holiday shift needs as determined by unit demands.
Required Skills & Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentialed by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
required BLS certification
required At least 2 years of recent experience in a hospital operating room setting Experience with the EPIC charting system
