Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required. License: Active state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required. Must-Have: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience. Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience. Proficiency in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including, but not limited to, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, IABP Placement/Removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), right heart catheterization, and Rotablader athrectomy. Experience with equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Knowledge of infection control practices including isolation precautions and sterile technique. Age-specific competencies for middle and older adults. Experience with Cerner charting system required. Description: This position involves working as a Cath Lab Tech. The role requires a commitment to working 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call shifts are required as needed, with rotating call during the week and weekends. Candidates should be prepared to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs, though floating to different units is not required. The facility maintains a focus on quality care and adheres to strict patient care protocols. The daily census is approximately 25, with a patient load of 5 rooms.
