In this role you will get to maintain the repository of Engineering documents and ensure documents comply with requirements. What you'll be doing: Ensures that pre-established requirements are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project. Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, and supplier requirements. Expedites review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced project documents. Establishes and maintains files and computerized indexes for active engineering documents. Assists in preparing a "mock up" for operations manuals and/or job data books. Prepares the project manual. Prepares transmittals for engineering documents and requisitions. Arranges document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of appropriate engineering documents at time of project closeout. Attends project meetings to give status of requisitions or other documents. May monitor space requirements for project personnel. May serve as engineering coordination job leader. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position. What required skills you'll bring: High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant work experience in an engineering support position on a project. Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required. An understanding of how to identify and handle drawings and other technical engineering documents is also required. Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team. What desired skills you'll bring: Familiarity with electronic document management systems is desired. Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
